LondonBookReview aims to provide independent, interesting and informative book reviews on a range of topics, including science, economics and current affairs. This site is not linked to any publisher or author. This is a hype-free zone, and bad books deserve to be outed. Links to online bookshops do not influence the reviews - if something is not worth buying then reviewers are encouraged to say so. On the other hand if something is so good that life is meaningless without it then reviewers are encouraged to say that too. If you know how this site can be improved then drop us a line.
Note that this site has nothing whatsoever to do with the London Review of Books, or the London Review of Books Online. Any resemblance to the more established publication should be dispelled by perusing the two respective websites and the contents thereof.
If you would like to propose a book for review please send an email and, if the title is considered suitable, arrangements will be made to route the book to an appropriate reviewer. Please note that LondonBookReview is not interested in poetry, astrology, numerology or other pseudo-science. Please take a look at our existing content first.
All quotes and links to content should be attributed to LondonBookReview or LondonBookReview.com
If you wish to review a title for LondonBookReview, or have written a review already, please take a look at some of the existing content to familiarise yourself with our house style. Reviews should be interesting, grammatically correct (or as near as can be expected for a developer audience...), informative and about the book being reviewed. Illiterate gibberish will be laughed at scornfully. Literate gibberish may be acceptable.
